The Cod
One day someone in the group noticed a typo that changed "Code of Ethics" to "Cod of Ethics." Ever since that day, the Cod has been our mascot. It shows up particularly in these ways:
- "Cod Signal" is our version of the "Bat signal" and means that the person is making a request for help.
- Our "Cod of Conduct" (which, true to form, is still being written and will probably result in some text that is both jokey and serious)
- People may say "May the Cod be with you"
- "Codslap" was the name of the 2009 zine put together by Steve Lawson
